Matt Pacenza of Heal Utah Exposes the Herbert Administration’s Compliance with the ‘Ridiculous’ Green River Reactor Plan That Would Give Utah Its First Nuclear Reactors
(EnviroNews Utah) – At the Rally to Restore Sanity to Government held at the Utah State Capitol, Matt Pacenza, Policy Director at HEAL Utah spoke loudly to expose corruption in Utah politics.
The crowd was often heated as he delivered an expose’ of lies and deciet surrounding ultra conservative Republican Representative Mike Noel of Kane and Kanab Counties who has been a never ending river of controversial environmental policy making in Utah since being elected in 2002.
The issue at hand this time around: The Herbert Administration’s approval of a massive water giveaway for the Green River Reactor “scheme.” The plan, championed by former State Representative and Blue Castle CEO Aaron Tilton, would give Utah it’s first nuclear power reactors, set to be located near the Green River in the heart of a pristine wilderness area.
It turns out that Mike Noel just also happens to be the Executive Director of the Kane County Water Conservancy District, placing him conveniently at the heart of the issues.
Regarding the ties between Tilton and Noel, Pacenza had this to say: “What does the extremely well paid Executive Director of a water district do? He cuts deals. Like the deal he cut with his former legislative crony Aaron Tilton, to give Tilton’s ridiculous nuclear power scheme all the water it needs.”
Pacenza also revealed the fact that Noel, while criticizing big wasteful government is the beneficiary of a $95,600 per year salary for his part time job as executive director. He strongly rebuked Representative Noel for his hypocritical rhetoric, explaining to the disgruntled audience that everyone tuning in has to listen to Noel over and over again, painting the picture of himself as a humble farmer and stewart of the land, while his actions and activities on Capitol Hill clearly demonstrate something quite different.

This is a sketch! We sure as hell don’t need any more nuclear ticking time bombs in this country, or in the world for that matter. I really hope someone can sue their asses off and stop this thing!…..
