Dr. Brian Moench: “BREAKING NEWS – Air pollution problem has been solved!”
(EnviroNews Utah) – Salt Lake City – At the Clean Air, No Excuses rally on Jan. 25, 2014, at the State Capitol, Dr. Brian Moench of Utah Physicians for a Healthy Environment explained exactly how to solve Utah’s complex and crippling air pollution problem.
“The average Utahn walks 900 miles per year and drinks 22 gallons of beer, therefore, gets 41 miles per gallon. Problem solved!”
The comical comments brought uproarious laughter to an otherwise disgruntled crowd of approximately 5,000 attendees who comprised the largest air pollution-related event in Utah state history. The afternoon lineup consisted of music, humor, and hard air pollution facts — all in an effort to motivate the passionate crowd to contact their legislators and Governor Gary Herbert about supporting the clean air bills scheduled to be presented in this year’s legislative session.

Where can I find and read the clean air bills that are scheduled to be presented?
It is likely that the actual language is not available for reading yet since the legislature is not officially in session yet. I would check the websites of the individual legislators who are crafting these bills after the session starts. Should be able to find it then…. 🙂
